Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has issued a jobs notification for Constables in UP Police for 2026 as a result of many openings in the various categories of Civil Police, PAC, Armed Police, Special Security Force, Women’s Battalion, Mounted Police, etc. Candidates who have completed their Intermediate education or Class 12 are eligible to apply if they are also physically fit and within the required age limits.
Candidates will go through several test phases to be selected including written tests, Physical Efficiency Tests (PETs), Physical Measurement Tests (PMTs), document verification, and Medical tests. Successful candidates will be paid according to Pay Level 3 by the pay scale of ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 plus all incentives that are associated with government employees.

- Candidates must complete the run within the prescribed
time
Document Verification (DV)
- Verification of original documents such as:
- Educational certificates
- Age proof
- Category certificate (if applicable)
Medical Examination
- Final medical fitness test conducted by the board
- Candidates must be medically fit as per UP Police
